RICHMOND, Ind. – Owen Golliher led Hagerstown’s football team to its first Tri-Eastern Conference championship since 2012 and was rewarded by being named the All-TEC Player of the Year as the All-TEC team was announced Thursday.

Golliher completed 124 of 203 pass attempts for 1,891 yards and 17 touchdowns, while also rushing for 849 yards and 16 scores, as the Tigers went 10-2, with an undefeated TEC title and advanced to a second straight sectional championship game.

Defensively, Golliher was fourth on the team with 94 total tackles (6.6 per game), and added an interception.

Other All-TEC first selections from Hagerstown were Jalen Oliver, Blake Blevins, Ryan Golliher, Jake Combs and Mason Hicks, while Cameron Purtha and Cody Swimm were honorable mentions.

Other first-team All-TEC selections were Kody Witham, Nico Wankerl, Cole Cooper, Reese VanDevender and Chris Pritchett of Centerville; David Berger, Cole Retter, Jeremy McNew and Shane Berry of Northeastern; Blake Fields, Drew Cole, Nate Webb and Ryan Hensley of Union County, Trevor Thompson and Kyler Purdin of Union City, Jevin Malkey of Winchester, Chase Hokey of Lincoln, and Nick Wilson and Justin Greene of Tri.

Others receiving honorable mention include Jacob Creigmile and Dante Torres of Centerville, Logan Mastriano and Kaleb Loaiza of Northeatern, Derek Dearth and Mason Whitsell of Union County, Zach Adkins of Union City, Kaden White of Winchester, Nick Anderson of Lincoln and Alex Melton of Tri.

Centerville (7-3 overall, 6-1 in TEC) was second in the TEC, followed by Northeastern (5-5, 4-3) and Union County (5-5, 4-3), Tri (5-6, 3-4), Union City (3-7, 2-5), and Lincoln (1-9, 1-6) and Winchester (1-9, 1-6).
