Cradle 2 Crayons preschool second annual day celebration cum graduation 2017 held
Kohima, November 29 (DIPR): Cradle 2 Crayons preschool held its second annual day celebration cum graduation 2017 on November 29 at Red Cross conference hall, Officers’ Hill Kohima with Youth Pastor, Faith Harvest Church, Akumtila Kikon as the main speaker.
Speaking on the occasion, the speaker said that every parent has power and responsibilities to shape the destiny of our children and urged all the parents to make the best use of their formative years. Children have a sense of spontaneous curiosity so they must be taught how to think not what to think, she said. She also said that pre-school is often referred to as the questioning stage as such learning for them should be fun.
She asked all the parents to devote quality time to our children because as time goes by, our children seem to drift away from us. “Our role on our children cannot be replaced by TV or phones” and said that every child is unique and special so one should not compare our children with others. She urged all the parents to give unconditional love and grace to our children as they considered as the most valuable resources and best hope for the future.
Seyiekhrielhou Kuotsu and Dr. Ekonthung Dannise Mozhui spoke on behalf of parents. Both of them expressed their heartiest greetings and happiness to Director and Teachers of Cradle to Crayons for taking care of their children and shown love and affection in their place during their absence.
Director, Cradle to Crayons, Nchumbeni Ngullie while delivering speech wished all the graduating students a success while endeavoring to a new journey.
‘Everything I am’ and ‘Jesus loves me’ were presented by the Crayoners. Chicken Dance and Hokey Pokey Dance were presented by pre-nursery and Nursery respectively. Bible alphabetic recitation, poem recitation and educational songs were the highlights of the programme. ‘I Thank God’ was presented by the Crayoners while benediction was proposed by the Speaker. Zubeno was the leader of the programme.
