State Kabaddi teams leave for Sr Nationals

JAMMU, Dec 28: The Jammu and Kashmir State Kabaddi teams (men and women) left for participation in 65th Senior National Kabaddi Championship to be held at Hyderabad from December 31, 2017 to January 5, 2018.
The State teams will participate under the banner of J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association in collaboration with J&K State Sports Council.
Rajesh Gupta, MLA Jammu East distributed the sports kits to the selected players and flagged off the teams in a simple function.
He further announced Rs 4 lakh from his Constituency Development Fund (CDF) for the chairs of pavilion and flood lights in the Kabaddi field at MA Stadium in the presence of Hazi Abdul Qyoom, Chief Sports Officer of Sports Council, Ravi Singh, Divional Sports Officer, Ashok Singh, Manager, MA Stadium, Naresh Pardhan, Senior BJP Leader, Kuldeep Kumar Gupta, CEO of the Kabaddi Association, BS Thirthi, Vice President, Surinder Mohan Gupta, General Secretary, Anil Modi, Organizing Secretary, Sangram Singh, Treasurer, Sandeep Singh and Chairman Anti Doping Committee.
Anil Gupta, President, J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association also blessed the teams.
The teams: Men: Mohinder Singh, (Captain), Aman Singh, Mohd Usad Bin Yousaf, Jahangir Ahmd. Dar, Amandeep Singh, Basid Ali Khan, Kehav Singh, Iftkhar Ahmd. Nasir Ahmd Khan, Paramveer Singh, Mukesh Kumar Sharma and Lalit Sharma.
Anil Sharma is coach of the team and Khurshid Ahmad is the manager of the team.
Women: Sheetal Sharma (Captain), Pooja Devi, Nitish Bakshi, Kajal Devi, Mitali Manahas, Chuni Devi, Ashu Kour, Shahnaza Akhtar, Shiekh Inshan Youssuf, Masroofa Manzoor, Nahida Nabi, Binny Malgotra.
Ajay Gupta of Sports Council is the coach of the team and Anuradha is the Manager.
