PETALING JAYA: Mixed doubles pair Chen Tang Jie-Goh Liu Ying flirted with danger before checking into the quarter-finals at the India International Challenge in Mumbai.
The scratch pair toiled for an hour to beat India’s Saurabh Sharma-Anoushka Parikh 21-16, 22-24, 21-10 in the first round, comprising 16 pairs, at the Brabourne Stadium yesterday.
They will take on former international K. Yogendran and Prajakta Sawant of India for a place in the semi-finals.
